Top 10 Video Games Of All Time

KatMarie

This is my personal list of favorites. Enjoy!

1. Crash Bandicoot When I was a kid I played this game for the first time at my aunt's house. Ever since then I have been hooked! Maybe it's the nostalgia, maybe it's the game itself. I don't know. But, I will forever love Crash! Sure it has flaws, as all games do, but they're minor and easy to overlook. Naughty Dog definitely knew what they were doing when they made this one! And look, all these years later they were able to remaster it and STILL sell pretty well. That doesn't happen often.

2. Donkey Kong Country This is another I loved growing up. There isn't much I can say about this one that i didn't already say in the previous entry. This is just a fun and entertaining game. And I absolutely love DK! And yes, I am aware that there was Donkey Kong 64. I just liked the game play in this one a lot better.

3. GTA V For years, I claimed I hated video games (with the exception of the three listed above). And for years, I thought it was true. That was until this gem came out. It was great to finally be able to drive around freely in such a realistic and beautifully designed world. Car games are my favorite overall. Something about being able to just drive around and do my own thing soothes me. This was the first game to really let me do that and more. The missions are intriguing, the activities you can do are fun, and as I previously said, I love the graphics. It looks incredible! Yes there are other GTA games but none of them mesmerized me like this one did. I am beyond excited for the next one!

5. Mafia III My feelings toward this one are almost the same as mine for GTA V. It looks good overall and plays well. I can drive around, complete fun missions, and just get lost in New Bordeaux and that life. I love that it is set in the 1960's and deals heavily with racism and the culture at that time. And let me just say that I LOVE the Mafia aspect of it. That sort of stuff always peaks my interest

5. Super Mario Bros. All I have to say about this one is, who doesn't love it? And if they do, they're opinion is wrong! (i'm kidding). But seriously, it's such a classic!

6. Spyro This is just another one of those "classics" I love. I can't say much about it that I didn't say above. It's a great game (and franchise) and I hope to see it remastered soon, too!

7. The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (The Game) I bet this one won't make ANY other person on the planet's list. That's ok with me! It isn't a perfect game and definitely has flaws but It's one i'd play again and again. I had it on the Gamecube years ago and absolutely loved it. I played it a lot at the time but never got through it completely. I was sad when we got rid of that system and I couldn't play anymore. Nonetheless, I got it for the PS2 as soon as I got one after that lol

8. Mario Kart 64 This is just another "classic" that's fun to play with friends! It's great being #1 at the end! Haha

9. ATV Offroad Fury It doesn't really matter which game in the franchise, I always had fun playing these as a kid. It was way too cool to be able to just go off road and drive where ever you wanted.

10. The Hobbit (PS2) This is one I just somehow acquired as a kid and enjoyed. It was cool to go on an adventure and explore an unknown world. I had never seen any of the movies or read the books at that point so it wasn't like i knew much of it. I had fun with it anyways.
