Compiling a list of only 5 has been tough. It has changed a lot over the years but I think I may have finally found a legitimate top 5. These films have impacted my life in positive, life changing ways and I will forever love them. I'm not someone who can watch a movie over and over again but if ever I did, these are the ones i'd gladly choose.
1. Grease

From "Summer Lovin" to "We Go Together", grease has my full attention. Especially when beautiful Danny Zuko is on my screen. Who needs the Pink Ladies when you can be a leather wearing, bad ass T Bird! And let's not forget how incredible the songs are in this one. No other musical has been able to steal my heart like Grease has.
2. Titanic

I am really intrigued by tragedy. I'm not sure why, I just always have been. I noticed at a very young age that I was drawn to the Titanic story. The real life event, not the movie. But the movie drives that realization home. I love how real and raw it is. How...perfect! It took me until just now to give in and actually buy it something more advanced. I was so in love with the idea of watching it just as I grew up doing so, on two VHS tapes. Titanic will forever be in my heart, and just like with Jack and Rose...My heart will go on!
3. Friday the 13th

This was one of the earliest horror films I saw as a kid. It defined what horror is to me. All of these years later, I am a loyal fan of not just the first film, but the entire series. Even though my beloved Jason isn't actually the killer in this one, It is and will always be my favorite. Not just in the series, but my favorite horror film of all time.
4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

I struggled to get past the top 3 on this one. There's tons of movies I love but I had a hard time pinpointing the remaining two that I really really love. I tried to imagine I could only watch 5 movies for the rest of my life and pick what ones I would have no problem watching again and again. Ultimately, that led me to this gem. I had it at number 5 at first. That was until I realized that it holds a special place in my heart way more than my actual number 5. I cannot imagine my life without Harry Potter in it. I have been hooked since the first film. As I have said a hundred times before, i'm a sucker for origin stories. Plus, ive seen this one the most. It never gets old. It really doesn't. I almost put Chamber of Secrets here because it's a VERY close second for me in the series.
5. The Outsiders

Last but not least, this classic! I am greaser OBSESSED. And I love Partick freaking Swayze so, I couldn't forget to include this one of my list. I love everything about it. Especially the uber memorable line, "Stay gold, Ponybody. Stay gold." That has me all in my feels every single time and has become one of my most favorite quotes.
